What it is

Thanksgiving Made Easy can text you reminders about steps in your own Thanksgiving plan, such as when to start thawing the turkey or when it goes in the oven. Text messages are optional and are only sent to people who opt in.

How you opt in

When you set up reminders in the planner, you enter your mobile number and check an unchecked box next to the consent statement below. We then send a one-time verification code to that number. You are opted in only after you enter the code.

Consent statement shown at sign-up:

"By checking this box, I agree to receive automated text message reminders about my Thanksgiving plan from Thanksgiving Made Easy at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies (typically 3–10 messages per event). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. See the Privacy Policy and Terms."

Message types and frequency

Reminder messages tied to the schedule you create, plus a verification code and replies to STOP and HELP. Expect roughly 3 to 10 messages per event. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
